EVECCS offers two types of membership. This introduction provides a short overview of both options.

1. EVECCS/VECCS membership with full JVECC subscription
This type of membership offers the most options and advantages to our members. The key benefits of this type of membership include:

1. access to the “members-only” section of the EVECCS website

  • membership profile that can be maintained online
  • forum for peer-group discussion on VECC subjects
  • VECC guidelines and standards (in progress)
  • information on and links to interesting websites
  • EVECCS congress proceedings (in progress)
  • online access to the Journal of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care, the official journal of EVECCS, VECCS, AVECCT, and ACVECC

2. a reduced fee for the annual EVECCS congress
3. reduced prices for EVECCS goodies, such as congress proceedings (in progress).
4. the chance to contribute to the promotion of VECC in Europe.

VECCS benefits

1. access to the “members-only “ section on the VECCS website

  • provides access to the VECCS membership directory
  • provides direct access to JVECC on-line

2. JVECCS, published bi-monthly, is the official internationally recognized publication for this specialty

  • a personal hard copy of JVECC mailed to each member in February, April, June, August, October and December
  • immediate, online access to current and past issues of JVECC
  • early on-line access to new papers provided to VECCS members only

3. discounted symposia registration fees including major savings on IVECCS and other meeting registration fees
4. “Members Only” meetings including an invitation to attend the annual VECCS Continuing Education (CE) spring meetings.
5. special 25% discount on all Wiley-Blackwell book titles for online or telephone orders only.
6. special member rates for access to online CE presentations (audio-video slide presentations from IVECCS)
7. access to online discussion groups for clinical and management issues
8. the opportunity to list your practice on the public section of the VECCS website
9. reduced rates for classified advertising in JVECC (ads are posted online for no additional cost)
10. discounted subscription rates for Veterinary Learning Systems’ “Standards of Care” publication
11. first notification of early IVECCS Registration

2. EVECCS membership with JVECC online subscription
This option is offered to all new subscribers or EVECCS members who want to become member of EVECCS without becoming member of VECCS. With this membership EVECCS can only offer online access to JVECC; you do not receive a hard copy of the journal.
